We are now featuring an expanded program of training through individual supervision and consultation. Depending upon the circumstances, such meetings can occur in person in New York, or through video conferencing online. This training process involves the discussion of cases, experiential work, meditation training, and working through didactic material on behavioral principles and the science of mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion.

Group trainings take place in the context of weekend workshops and online group consultation meetings. We conduct 2 to 4 online group trainings per year to a limited group of participants who have some background in the applied science, and who have a commitment to compassion focused work. We run ongoing groups for more advanced practitioners who are based internationally.

Our weekend workshops, and those run by our colleagues, can be found in the "events" section of this site. These workshops provide experiential training in the therapy methods that we use. Workshops are available that are tailored to the needs of local organizations, and involve training in CFT, ACT, Compassion Focused ACT, or other forms of CBT, upon request. We deliver workshops locally or internationally. Additionally we host international experts on compassion to conduct workshops through our Center, and have been honored to host such experts as Dr. Kristin Neff, Dr. Paul Gilbert, Dr. Chris Germer, and Dr. Kelly Wilson. In addition to these events, we host an annual Compassionate Mind Summit and Retreat that has brought some of the brightest and best minds in CFT and compassion psychology together for personal practice and deep inner work.
